This handmade ring is inspired by the majestic Mt Rangirua, also known as ‘Silberhorn’ in English. Soaring to an impressive height of 3,300 meters, it proudly stands as the fifth-highest peak in New Zealand. It’s German name "Silberhorn," meaning "silver horn," was bestowed upon it by William Spotswood Green in 1882, drawing parallels to the Silberhorn in the Swiss Alps.
The Māori name, Rangirua, adds another layer of significance, with its literal translation being 'second sky' (rangi: sky; rua: two).
